Your Role

We are looking for a Senior AI Gameplay Programmer to push the boundaries of AI-driven NPC behavior in our AAA survival city-building game. You will develop sophisticated AI systems that create unique, emergent gameplay experiences in a procedurally generated world.

Responsibilities

Design and implement AI-driven NPC behavior, including decision-making, pathfinding, and interactions.
Work closely with designers and animators to create lifelike and reactive AI characters.
Develop procedural AI routines for villagers, enemies, and creatures to enhance realism.
Optimize AI performance for large-scale NPC interactions in an open-world environment.
Debug, profile, and optimize AI systems for seamless gameplay performance.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in AI programming for games.
Strong proficiency in C++ and experience with Unreal Engine 5 (Behavior Trees, EQS, NavMesh).
Experience with procedural AI, crowd simulation, and large-scale NPC behavior.
Passion for survival and city-building games.
Onsite position.
